“I use the power of coaching and speaking to redefine clarity, commitment
and conviction within teams and organizations.”

For the last two decades, Corey has demonstrated a relentless commitment to delivering inspirational and thought-provoking messages. As a teenager, he gave his first speech about life growing up without a father. It was at that point that Corey embraced speaking as a purpose.

As a founding member of the Queen City Toastmasters Speakers Bureau, a member of the National Speakers Association,  and a Competent Communicator (CC) through Toastmasters International, Corey has continued to strengthen his ability to reach a diverse audience, serving as a catalyst for those who want to reinvent their lives. Corey is a Certified Professional Coach through the Center for Coaching Certification, and has also completed the Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching through the Coaches Training Institute, the John Maxwell 360° Leadership Training, and is a Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP) through The Training Bank and the Customer Service Institute of America. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and has a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Winthrop University. His professional background includes experience in Sales, Management, Financial Services, Operations & Project Management, and work in the  Non-Profit Education Reform arena.

Through his coaching and speaking engagements, Corey has had the opportunity to reach a variety of audiences with this call to action: you must choose to make a decision every day to let go of insecurity, doubt and fear. His passion is the same whether speaking to a small mentoring group or an auditorium full of people. His messages are crafted to challenge your current way of thinking and perspective in order to build the mental capacity necessary to achieve your highest level of potential.

When he is not addressing crowds, Corey remains committed to operating in a training and motivational mindset.  He continues to feed his lifelong passion for coaching as a basketball skills and development trainer for a nationally recognized organization in South Carolina.

“Coaching is not about problems—it’s about possibility, transformation, dreams and hope.
It’s about changing yourself and changing the world, and being unapologetic in doing so.”

Sharma loves people. And if there is something she loves more than people, it’s helping people grow in their Personal Leadership.

It was through the work as an internal management coach for a large non-profit organization that Sharma discovered her love for coaching and leadership development. Her largest endorsement for coaching and leadership development, however, comes from the life-changing experience of being coached herself, and participating in a number of transformational leadership development experiences throughout her career.

Sharma is an Associate Certified Coach and a Mentor Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), the professional association that establishes ethics and standards for professional coaching. She is also a Certified Leadership and Talent Management Coach through the Workplace Coach Institute, a Certified Professional Coach through the Center for Coaching Certification, and has completed the Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching through the Coaches Training Institute. The coaching certifications are all accredited through the ICF, where Sharma is a global member. Sharma is also a Certified Human Capital Strategist through the Human Capital Institute and is experienced in strengths-based coaching using Gallup’s Clifton StrengthsFinder. She has completed the Columbia Business School Executive Education & the Institute for Personal Leadership’s program titled “Personal Leadership,” which is based on breakthrough research in psychology, neuroscience and other scientific disciplines, and a rigorous study of the inner lives of great leaders.  Sharma is also a proud graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class 34. Her career spans human capital and talent management, communication and public relations strategy, and external affairs management. Sharma is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Mass Media Communication and the University of Central Florida with a Masters degree in Mass Communication.

When she is not coaching clients, Sharma enjoys working with the youth by serving on non-profit boards and also through her church. She loves beaches, reading, good food, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
